LONG TOED STINT..

The Long toed Stint is a rare winter visitor to India. It's an elegant looking Stint with long legs and upright posture. It breeds in Eastern Russia and small numbers move to India during migration each year . This snap was taken by Dr. Jayan Thomas when the bird came to Kannur in February 2017.
